 Abstract:  Bruno Zecharias Kisch (1890-1966) was a medical doctor, biochemist, and Jewish scholar. He was one of the founders of the Juedisches Lehrhaus in Cologne and taught at Yale and Yeshiva Universities in the United States after leaving Nazi Germany. The collection contains correspondence relating to Kisch's involvement in Kehillath Jawne Austrian Jewish Congregation, medical journals from Germany, medical correspondence, drafts of articles, and manuscripts on various scientific topics.

In the report, Karmen describes the horrors that he encountered there after the camp was liberated by the Russian army.

 Abstract:  The collection consists of a record book from a butcher's shop near Kisvarda, Hungary between the years 1928-1944. It lists the type of meat sold, the date of the sale and to whom it was sold. Kisvarda was a small town in northeast Hungary. It had been a thriving Jewish community from 1796 until the Jewish community was deported to Auschwitz by the Nazis in the spring of 1944.
