 Abstract:  The Rabbinical Assembly (RA) was founded in 1901 to be an organization of Conservative rabbis who would make decisions regarding law and practice for the Movement. The collection consists of a 15-page typed list of the names and addresses of the members of the Rabbinical Assembly of America from October 15, 1945. The members were from all across the United States, as well as a few from Canada and Palestine.

 Abstract:  Collection consists of handwritten family history notes, in Hebrew, from 1888 to 1954, by Yisrael Shmuel Rabi(nowitz?), who was born in Korets, presently in Ukraine. They are written on pages of a copy of Solomon Ganzfried's Kitzur Shulhan Arukh (Code of Jewish Law), printed in Warsaw in 1874, which belonged to Rabinowitz.

 Abstract:  The Ramaz School is a Modern Orthodox day school which was founded in 1937 by Rabbi Joseph Lookstein, and it is named after Rabbi Lookstein's grandfather-in-law, Rabbi Moses Zevulun Margolies, who was known as the RaMaZ. This collection consists of the journal from the 52nd annual dinner-dance held by the school in honor of Rabbi Joshua Bakst for 25 years of teaching Judaic studies at the high school.

 Abstract:  The collection contains a report by Coen Rood, a Dutch Jewish tailor, written during the period 1945-1949 for the War Documentation Center of the Netherlands. The report, titled "Report 1942 to 1945," recounts Rood's experiences as a prisoner in 11 forced labor camps during that period and includes detailed recollections of death marches and his time spent in Camp Conrad in the Netherlands, Flossenburg in Germany, and Gleiwitz-Steigern in Poland, as well as a number of other camps.

 Abstract:  Henry Rubinlicht, a survivor of the Warsaw ghetto uprising of 1943, built a memorial in his home in Montreal dedicated to those who had died in the ghetto. The collection contains photographs and news articles pertaining to Rubinlicht's Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Memorial. An abridged form of a letter written by his sister Francis while trapped in Warsaw, entitled "A Farewell Letter Written from a Shelter by Francis Rubinlicht," is also included in the collection.

Davis, the American Consul General in Warsaw, and Senator Robert F. Wagner.
