A long-time dayan (judge) for the London Beth Din and rabbi in New York, Rabbi Hyamson spoke out against the calendar reform which would have resulted in the Jewish Sabbath no longer being on the seventh day of each week.

Additionally, the filmmaker tapes the participants and produces a mini-documentary entitled Names, Not Numbers: A Movie in the Making. The collection consists of the films produced by students at the various participant schools, as well as the filmmakers' mini-documentaries. There is also a file of background information and publicity about the project.
