 Abstract:  Rabbi Novick served as executive director of Rescue Children, Inc. between 1945-1948. He was active in placing young survivors of the Holocaust in families in America and Israel and fundraising for their care. The collection contains a recording of an interview with Rabbi William Z. and Mrs. Eda Bess Novick concerning their activities with Rescue Children, Inc. in the years following World War II.

 Abstract:  Helene Karo Friedman Lederer is a French-born Jewish educator. After World War II she was adopted by the Friedman family of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, through the Rescue Children, Inc. adoption program. The collection contains a sixty minute cassette tape and summary of an interview with Helene Lederer as well as some original photographs.

 Abstract:  Maurice Enright was active in Jewish communal affairs, especially those affiliated with the Poale Agudath Israel. After the close of World War II, he traveled to Europe three times between 1946 and 1948 as a representative of the Vaad Hatzala and Rescue Children organizations. These post-war activities are the major focus of this collection, which consists of correspondence, scrapbooks, photographs, and newspaper clippings.
