| Abstract: | When the Ponevez Yeshiva was destroyed in the Holocaust, its leader, Yosef Kahaneman, set about rebuilding it in the Israeli town of Bnai Brak and by 1943, it was already beginning to flourish. In 1994, the yeshiva held its 54th anniversary dinner, honoring Rav Avraham Kahaneman, the president of the yeshiva and the son of its founder. The collection consists of the journal from that dinner and another concurrent publication with articles about Rabbi Yosef Kahaneman and the yeshiva. | ||
