 Abstract:  The Ramaz School is a Modern Orthodox day school which was founded in 1937 by Rabbi Joseph Lookstein, and it is named after Rabbi Lookstein's grandfather-in-law, Rabbi Moses Zevulun Margolies, who was known as the RaMaZ. This collection consists of the journal from the 52nd annual dinner-dance held by the school in honor of Rabbi Joshua Bakst for 25 years of teaching Judaic studies at the high school.

 Abstract:  Alvin Schiff, a renowned Jewish educator, served as executive vice president of the Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York (BJE) from 1970-1991. The collection primarily consists of materials created and collected by Schiff during his time at the BJE, and is on a broad range of topics relating to Jewish communal life, the majority of which are on Jewish education. The materials mostly consist of printed reports and pamphlets, however there are also some internal organizational reports and studies, as well as several term papers.
