| Abstract: | Temami Gezari (1905-2009) was a painter, sculptor and muralist, and a renowned art educator. The collection consists of materials documenting her activities directing the Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York's Art Department from 1940 until 2002 and consists of files from numerous exhibits held in conjunction with art education programs at Jewish schools and community centers, and of administrative records and publications from the BJE's Art Department. It also contains personal files from Gezari's work as an artist and sculptor. | ||
