| Abstract: | Chaim Ben Zion Notelevitz was a rabbi and Jewish communal leader. He served as chief Orthodox rabbi in Louisville, Kentucky, from 1932 to 1941, and held leadership positions in a number of Jewish organizations. Rabbi Notelevitz wrote several books and articles on topics related to Jewish law. The collection contains novellae on Maimonides and Passover sacrifices, as well as a letter to Rabbi Aaron Zlotavitz, secretary of the Council of Rabbis in Brooklyn, N.Y. (1946). | ||
