 Abstract:  The collection consists of a pamphlet in Hebrew requesting money be sent to Rabbi Eliyahu Landau to support him while he works on a project to publish the unpublished works of his ancestor, Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna, known as the Vilna Gaon. The pamphlet includes letters from many of the major rabbis at the time from all over the world, encouraging people to send support to Rabbi Landau.

 Abstract:  The collection contains a booklet promoting the Atlas of Hebrew Literature Through the Ages: An Encyclopedic Survey, edited by Pinchas Wollmann-Tsamir and published in Israel in 1954. The atlas was endorsed by various dignitaries from Israel, as well as the press, and contained charts and maps depicting Jewish history.

 Abstract:  Rabbi Henry Gutterman was born in 1883 in Kalvaria, Lithuania, and he received rabbinic ordination from the Slobodka Yeshiva in 1903, and then again from Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary in 1908. He emigrated to the United States and in 1910 he moved to Scranton, PA to become a community rabbi there. He died in 1966. The collection consists of correspondence, clippings, notes, and stamps which he wrote and collected.

Portraits, plaques, photographs and personal artifacts relating to him and his achievements are also included..

 Abstract:  The Hahme Hatalmud: Talmudic Encyclopedia in Ten Volumes was published in 1928 by the Erez Israel Publication Committee. It was compiled by Rabbi Nahum Ben-Horim, along with a committee of prominent scholars in the field from the United States and Israel. This collection contains a letter from the committee to a potential donor, Aaron Etra, for the publication of this work.

 Abstract:  The collection consists of a letter from James H. Lowe of the Hebrew Compendium Publishing Company of London, England, the author of "Lowe's English Tutorial Preparations for Rabbinics," to Nathan Lamport, the president of the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at Yeshiva University, dated from February 14, 1926. Along with the letter is a page of short opinion pieces and testimonials regarding Lowe's work "Tutorial Preparation for Mishnoh and Gemoro," as well as an advertisement for his forthcoming "Rashi on the Pentateuch."

The collection contains letters and a flyer regarding Ferber's published works.

 Abstract:  Mordechai Bernstein was a Jewish historian and Yiddish cultural activist who lived in Poland, Argentina, and the United States. The collection contains unique documents on Jewish life in Germany since the seventeenth century, on Displaced Persons camps in Germany after World War II, and Jewish life in Argentina in the 1950s, as well as transcripts, photocopies and descriptions of numerous original documents and publications maintained in Germany and on German Jewry. Bernstein's personal papers are also included in the collection.

 Abstract:  Peter Wiernik was a prominent Yiddish journalist active in many Jewish organizations. The collection contains his records of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, with which he was involved, as well as records of other organizations he participated in. It also contains his personal papers, including correspondence from the 1920s and 1930s in the areas of Jewish belles-lettres, philanthropy and Yiddish journalism. His notes, drafts of articles, and newspaper clippings reflect his interest in Jewish political issues, history, bibliography and literature. The papers of his sister, Bertha Wiernik, contain correspondence and several plays she wrote in the 1930s and 1940s.
