 Abstract:  Bruno Zecharias Kisch (1890-1966) was a medical doctor, biochemist, and Jewish scholar. He was one of the founders of the Juedisches Lehrhaus in Cologne and taught at Yale and Yeshiva Universities in the United States after leaving Nazi Germany. The collection contains correspondence relating to Kisch's involvement in Kehillath Jawne Austrian Jewish Congregation, medical journals from Germany, medical correspondence, drafts of articles, and manuscripts on various scientific topics.

 Abstract:  The Caucasus Network (CN) is an organization founded by Helene Schwartz Kenvin in 1984 that provides aid to and advocates on behalf of Jews in the Caucasus and Central Asian Republics. Following the fall of the Soviet Union, the CN's main activity became to assist residents of the Caucasus and Central Asia republics in obtaining refugee-status admission to the United States. The collection consists of the CN's administrative records, individual case files, and reference resources from the period 1984-1999.

 Abstract:  Chaim Ben Zion Notelevitz was a rabbi and Jewish communal leader. He served as chief Orthodox rabbi in Louisville, Kentucky, from 1932 to 1941, and held leadership positions in a number of Jewish organizations. Rabbi Notelevitz wrote several books and articles on topics related to Jewish law. The collection contains novellae on Maimonides and Passover sacrifices, as well as a letter to Rabbi Aaron Zlotavitz, secretary of the Council of Rabbis in Brooklyn, N.Y. (1946).

 Abstract:  Rabbi Aharon Chaim Zimmerman (1915-1995) was the Rosh Yeshiva (Dean) of Hebrew Theological College until 1964, and then was a Rosh Yeshiva in New York City until he moved to Jerusalem, Israel in 1975. He wrote several books on Jewish law, philosophy and Israel. The collection contains an unsigned letter to him, commenting on his book Binyan Halakhah on Maimonides' Mishneh Torah.
