Biographical Note

Rabbi Simcha Goldshewsky served as a rabbi in Congregation Shaarei Shalom, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, Goldshewsky had served as a rabbi in Dvinsk (Daugavpils), Latvia. Rabbi Avraham Moshe Vitkind, rabbi of Butrimonys, Lithuania, authored Sefer Toʻafot Reʼem, a homiletic and Talmudic work. Rabbi Vitkind perished in the Holocaust.

Scope and Contents

The collection contains various manuscript notes/letters in Hebrew and Yiddish composed by Rabbi Simcha Goldshewsky, as well as a printed copy of Sefer Toʻafot Reʼem , with an inscription by the author, Rabbi Avraham Moshe Vitkind, to Goldshewsky.
