It also includes a diary with poetry and some illustrations, dedicated to Fillie Silberman by her classmates (in German, 1921-1924), and an unidentified notebook, circa 1963, filled with notes on a variety of topics and drafts of sermons for several important occasions.

Scope and Contents

The collection contains photo albums with photographs of Rabbi Mordecai Silberman, his family, Karlsruhe, Germany and other unidentified European cities, and a Jewish cemetery. It also includes a diary with poetry and some illustrations, dedicated to Fillie Silberman by her classmates (in German, 1921-1924). The collection also contains an unidentified notebook, circa 1963, filled with notes on a variety of subjects such as the High Holidays, Shabbat, Hanuka, and a memorial address for John F. Kennedy.
