Scope and Contents

The collection consists of issues of Academy News, the student newspaper of Yeshiva University's high school for boys in Manhattan, founded in 1916 as the Talmudical Academy and renamed The Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy Yeshiva University High School for Boys in 1979. The earliest issue is April, 1943 (Volume 2, No. 1), although the paper was first published intermittently during the 1930s. Additionally, numbering begins at Volume 1 several times during the newspaper's publication. There are many gaps in the holdings.
